Fern J. Norem
Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Fern J. Norem, 83, formerly of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, April 16, 2007, at Turner Geriatric Center.

 

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm, Thursday, April 19th, at the Turner Geriatric Center Chapel for All Faiths with Rev. Ray Pinard officiating.

 

Fern was born July 11, 1923, in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.  She was married for 60 years to her husband, Tom, whom she outranked when they married on May 5, 1945.  Fern was a US Marine, and Tom was a member of the US Army Air Corps.  Her claim to fame has always been her marriage and her family.  She was active in the Girl Scout program and the American Legion.  Fern has been a resident of Turner since her husband passed away.

 

Fern is preceded in death by her husband, Tom, and is survived by her daughters, Roxanne Harbert and husband, Ray; and Jolene Magee; and grandchildren: Amy Deason and husband, Warren; Thomas Magee; and Julia Tomlinson and husband, Morgan.

 

Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
