Rocky Dow Clare
Jeter Memorial Funeral Home

Rocky Dow Clare, 52, of League City, Texas passed away April 28, 2007. He was born on January 22, 1955 to Samye D. and Norma R. (Riggs) Clare in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  Rocky was a servant at heart who spent his life saving others. He and 13 others started the volunteer Emergency Medical Service in Fort Stockton, TX. Then he moved to Galveston, TX where he served as a paramedic for 28 years. He was a wonderful father to his two sons, Ryan and Randy Clare.

 

He is survived by his mother, Norma Clare; sons, Ryan Clare and Randy Clare; and sisters, Melody Houseknecht, Lisa Siegmund, and Samye McCall.

 

The visitation will be Wednesday, May 2, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546, (281) 992-7200, 1-877-JETERFH (538-3734), www.jeterfuneralhome.com

 

The service will be Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Friendswood, 111 E. Heritage Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546 with Dr. David Belk officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
