Rose May HollowayRose May Holloway, 56, passed away Friday, May 4, 2007 at her residence in Galveston, Texas.  The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home, Friday, May 11, 2007 with  a wake to be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 12, 2007 at JerusalemBaptistChurch in Galveston, Texas. Graveside services will follow at LakeviewCemetery in Galveston.

Rose May Holloway was born on August 19, 1950 to Ethel Savoy and other parents, George and Shirley Lundy. She was a member of JerusalemBaptistChurch. She attended public schools in Galveston, Texas.

Left to cherish memories of her wonderful life is her devoted husband, Terris Holloway, Jr.; daughter, Stephanie Darby and husband, Elridge of Galveston, Texas; son, Terris Holloway, III of Chico, California; two grandchildren, Duran Jones and Elreon Darby; sisters, Geraldine Dotson and husband Charles, Azale Mc Henry and husband Elroy and Emma Holmes all of Galveston County, Barbara Hardy and husband, Leroy of Basile, Louisiana; brothers, Early Holmes and wife, Arlene of Houston, Texas, Lionel Holmes and wife, Evelyn,  Michael Holmes and wife, Evelyn and Lionel Holmes and wife Sedonia all of Galveston; sisters, Jessie Henderson, Sadie Lundy, Emma Ruth Fontenot and husband, Lerin all of Galveston County; brothers, John Lundy and wife, Cynthia, Leon Lundy and wife, Brenda, Joseph Lundy and wife, Trina, James Lundy and wife Bernice all of Galveston County; devoted  friend, Yvette Rittenhouse; brothers-in-law, Menson Holloway and wife Chong, Fredrick Holloway, Tommy Holloway, Nelson Holloway and Shadrick Holloway; sisters-in-law, Rita Wade, Keysha Holloway, Toni Holloway; devoted mother-in-law, Lillie Mae Holloway; numerous other relatives and many friends.

Special thanks to the UTMB staff and Hospice Care Team fo everything during this long term care. Thank you very much!!!
