Frank Broussard was born April 25, 1924, in New Iberia, LA. A resident of Galveston since 1952, Mr. Broussard was a retired merchant marine for the National Maritime Association. He also was a member of Amity Lodge # 4 F. & A.M..

He is survived by his five children, Frank Broussard, Jr., James L. Broussard, Karen D. Broussard, Frankye Washington, Bruce A. Broussard; 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; devoted friends, Marcellina Gipson and Georgia Jackson; numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May, 12, 2007, in the chapel of Journet & Bolden Funeral Home, 711 S. Corinne St., New Iberia, LA. Visitation will be held prior to service.
