Texas City Mayor Matt Doyle was among those who turned out for the Vietnam Veterans of America Galveston County Chapter 685 Watchfire on the Texas City Dike Sunday night.  Doyle presented a proclamation naming the Dike as Watchfire Memorial Park.

The photos include hanging the dog tags on the field crosses: One for Vietnam, WW2, Korea, and Agent orange victims; and a seperate field cross for the war on terror. The photos include the flag disposal and the lighting of the Watchfire.

"See you all next year," said VVA Galveston County Chapter 685 President Jim Rose, who has provided photos for the three days.
