Wilma Jeanette Wrenn McNeese

 Wilma Jeanette Wrenn McNeese, 58, departed this life on Friday, June 1, 2007, at UTMBHospital in Galveston.
Wilma was born January 4, 1949, in Galveston, Texas to the union of the late Hezekiah “H. K. “ Wrenn, Sr. and Lillie Tatum Wrenn. She accepted Christ at an early age at the First Union Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. J. I. Jackson. She attended public school in Galveston and graduated from Central High School with the class of 1967. She was a faithful member of the Mt.Pilgrim Baptist Church and had a special love for her family, church family and everyone she had close contact with.
Wilma was preceded in death by her father; husband, Johnny McNeese Sr.; son, Johnny McNeese Jr.; and brother, Attorney H.K. Wrenn, Jr.
She leaves with cherished memories of her life with daughter, Jada S. McNeese- Sierra (Andy); granddaughter, Alianna Sierra; mother, Lillie Mae Wrenn; brothers, Rev. Isaac O. Wrenn (Penny), Harold Jones (Gloria), Kenneth Austin, John Austin, and Greg Austin; sisters, Beverly Wrenn, Lauressa Wrenn- Joe (James), Frankie Wrenn-Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Special Thanks to Island (Divita) Dialysis Center, Dr. P. Aristimuno, Dr. Beach, UTMB 6B, 5C and E R. Staff; her providers, Mrs. Willie Mae Shedwin and Brenda Shinette; close friends, Pat Brown, Emmitt Noel, Patsy Dotson, and Roy Sheppard, Betsy, and the Gulf Breeze residents.
Viewing will begin at 4PM on Thursday, June 7th, followed by a wake from 7-8PM at E R Johnson Family Mortuary. A service celebrating her life will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, June 8, 2007, at the Mt Pilgrim Baptist Church with Pastor Lorenzo Williams officiating.
