Armando Garza, Sr.
Carnes Brothers Funeral Home

Armando GarzaArmando Garza, Sr., 46, died Friday, June 8, 2007 at JohnSealyHospital in Galveston.  A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am , Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at St Patrick Catholic Church in Galveston, Texas with Father John Paul Flajole, O.F.M. celebrant. Burial will follow at CalvaryCatholicCemetery in Galveston, Texas. The family will receive visitors at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, 1201 Tremont, Galveston, Texas on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary to be held at 7:00 pm.

Armondo was born June 3, 1961 to Abelardo and Antonia Garza Garza in Brownsville, Texas. He attended Brownsville public schools. He was a carpenter in the construction industry and owner of the D & M Enterprises.

Preceded in death by his father, daughter, Kimberly Garza and 2nd wife Tammy Garza,  Armando is survived by his sons, Armando Garza, Jr. and Christopher Garza both of Galveston; daughters, Savannah Garza and Taylor Garza both of Galveston; 1st wife Rosie Ramos of Galveston; sisters, Virginia Garza Ward of Illinois and Glafira Garza of Los Fresnos, Texas, Linda Garza Limon of Brownsville and Almira Garza Medina of Texas City; brothers, Abelardo Garza, Jr. of Illinois and Juan Antonio Garza of Los Fresnos, Texas, Ruben Garza of Brownsville, Arturo Garza and Dave Kiamar both of Galveston; mother, Maria Antonia Garza of Los Fresnos, Texas, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers are Gary Cagel, Dave Kiamar, Daniel Lopez, Jr., Kenny Ramirez, Rodrigo Garza, David Flores, Michael Abelardo Garza and Alejandro Garza, Jr.
