Mrs. Lulah Willodean Brown passed from this life Monday, June 11, 2007, at her home.

Born January 26, 1930 in Flint, Michigan, Mrs. Brown had been a resident of Santa Fe for 54 years.  She was a homemaker, a charter member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, enjoyed crafts and loved to sing.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James G. Brown, parents, William McKenley and Eller Verline (True) Graves and 2 sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Ann Brown of Dickinson, brothers, William M. Graves of Baytown, Sidney Charles Graves of Bakersfield, CA; granddaughter, Kimberly Elise Lowe; great-grandchildren, Elyssa Martin and Dylan Carter; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2007, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Dr. J. Keith Broyles officiating.  Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Travis Acree, Michael Cokins, Lucas Ellis, Richard Lon, John Daniel Rankin and Earl Routh.
