Betty J. Cooper- Wright

 Betty J. Cooper- Wright, 64, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 16, 2007, at UTMBHospital.
Betty was born in Galveston, on August 24, 1942, to the late Isaac and Leona Cooper. At an early age she confessed Jesus Christ as her Savior and was raised in the ShilohAMEChurch. She was also a member of CarterTempleCMEChurch and later united with the Compton Memorial C.O.G.I.C.. Betty worked for many years at UTMB for A.R.A. in Dietary, later she became a Healthcare Provider.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Wright; brother, Morris Cooper; sisters, Doris Lee, Florence Nichols, and Vera Carter.
She leaves to cherish memories, her daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Marshall Watson; grandson, Marshall Wright (Jennifer); sisters, Barbara Smith, Celeste Kennison of San Jose, CA; devoted friend, Leonard Close; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, associates and friends.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, Friday, June 22nd, followed by a service celebrating her life at 11:00 AM, at E.R. Johnson Family Mortuary, with Rev. Harold Block officiating. Burial will follow at LakeviewCemetery.
