Psalm 122:1  I was glad when they said to me, let us go into the house of the Lord.

Mary L. Brown, 69, took her final rest in the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ on June 22, 2007.  Mary was a spirited woman that everyone loved.  She will be deeply missed.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Almeda Brown; brothers, Preston Morgan and Henderson Alexander; sister, Vera Robinson; nephew, Henry Love and niece, Monica Hatch.

She is survived by her sisters Eslen Love, Gloria Miles, Fannie (Edward) Hightower, Theresa Williams and brother, Jesse (Grace) Brown, all of Galveston, Texas; numerous very loving nieces and nephews; great nieces; great nephews and devoted niece Tara Greer and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday,  June 29, 2007 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Galveston, Texas beginning with the Rosary at 9:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m.  Father Paul Banet, celebrant.

Burial will follow at LakeviewCemetery in Galveston.
