Frances Lydia Howard died peacefully at 4:50 pm on Saturday, July 21, 2007. She was born Frances Lydia Cranston on March 3, 1909, and in 1927 she married Edward A. Howard, who predeceased her.
Frances is survived by her sons, Edward Cranston Howard and wife, Diane; and John Hale Howard and his wife, Nancy; sister, Bernice Cranston; grandchildren: Norma Jean Sargent, Michael Howard, Richard Howard, Mark Howard, Craig Howard, Cindy Griffith, Jennifer Day, Elizabeth Howard, Michael Shannon Howard, and Haley Marie Howard; fifteen great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.
Frances’ family will receive guests beginning at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, July 24th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, July 25th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Niall Nolan as Celebrant. Burial will follow the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
