Jane Louise Haigh
Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Jane Louise HaighJane Louise Haigh, 65, of Crystal Beach, passed away Monday, July 30, 2007, at M. D. Anderson Hospital.

 

Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Friday, August 3rd, at Bay Vue United Methodist Church in Crystal Beach.  The family will receive visitors after 5:00 pm, Thursday, August 2nd, at the church.  The family requests casual dress for both visitation and the funeral service.

 

Jane was born August 27, 1941, in Long Island, New York.  After living for 28 years in the Alief area, Jane and Jack retired to Crystal Beach, where Jane was a member of Bay Vue United Methodist Church, Bolivar Peninsula Community Outreach, AARP, and served as a leader with the Girl Scouts.  Jane enjoyed crocheting blankets for her children, grandchildren, and friends, and making various crafts for use as gifts.  She also loved reading and her weekly gatherings with friends at the AARP center to visit and play cards and dominoes.

 

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Elizabeth and William Joseph Foley.

 

She is survived by her husband, John (Jack) Louis Haigh; daughters, Teresa Louise (Terri) Fletcher, Laurie Jane Brehmer, and Tracy Lynn Pyle; son, John Christopher (JC) Haigh; brother, William Joseph Foley, Jr.; grandchildren: Terra Jo Gaines, Kyle Dale Gaines, Christopher Michael Haigh, Mattison Ruth Haigh, John Tyler Haigh, Jack Wyatt Brehmer, Max Jeffrey Brehmer, Ford Joseph Brehmer, Cameron Joseph Pyle, and Nolan Phillip Pyle.

 

Pallbearers will be Bootsie Duplant, Jasper Simmons, Archie Page, James Tindall, Tom Carter, and Tom Haigh.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Jane Haigh Memorial Fund for Bolivar Peninsula Emergency Medical Services, c/o Bay Vue United Methodist Church, P O Box 1997, Crystal Beach, TX 77650.
