Irma Labardini Mendoza

Irma Labardini Mendoza, age 80, passed away August 1, 2007 at her home. Irma was born in Galveston on July 28, 1927 to Gabriel and Emma Labardini.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Julius Labardini.
Irma is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jesse Mendoza; brothers, Louis Labardini and Ralph Labardini; sister, Alma Labardini; and other special family members; and also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Moody Memorial First United Methodist Church, Galveston on Monday, August 6, 2007 at 10:30 A.M., with Reverend Raymond Pinard officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Irma requested that contributions be made to the scholarship fund established at UTMB in her name. Irma Mendoza Scholarship, c/o Ms. Ann Anderson, 301 University Blvd., Galveston, Texas 77555-1041 or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 570127, Houston, Texas 77257-0127.
