Paul Irving Galmiche, 85, of Galveston, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2007, at his residence.  He was born January 22, 1922, in Houston and was a longtime resident of the island.  Paul was a veteran of World War II and worked as an electrician, retiring from Greater Electric.  He was of the Catholic faith.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, August 9th, at Calvary Mausoleum in Galveston, with Father William Bartniski officiating.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Toni Sanders; granddaughters, Tiffany Vaiani and husband, Rocky, and Melanie Sanders; and great grandson, Luke Vaiani, all of Galveston, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.
