Lori D. Dickison, 43, received her reward of eternal rest on Friday, August 3, 2007, at Mainland Medical Center.
Lori was born on June 24, 1964, in Galveston to Jimmie and Glenda Adams Dickison.
She was reared in Galveston and attended public school there and was 1982 graduate of BallHigh School. She would later go on to attend Galveston College. Lori was presently employed with UTMBHospital as a Health Unit Coordinator. She was also a member of Compton Memorial church where she song in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Dickison, Sr.; grandparents, Jesse and Laura Dickison, and Alton and Mender L. Adams; aunt, Edith Franklin; nephew, James Dickison.
Lori leaves with cherish memories, a daughter, Emile “Me Me” Scott-Prior; her mother Glenda Dickison both of Hitchcock; brother, Jimmie Dickison of Galveston; Jeffery Dickison; sister, Vandella Dickison both of Dallas; uncles, Billy Franklin, John Dickison and Walton Adams; aunt Charity Boulet; fiancé, Bobby Ingram, Jr.; and her precious little pet, Maxwell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 10th from 4-8 p.m. at E.R. Johnson Family Mortuary. A service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00a.m.on Saturday, August 11, 2007, at Compton Memorial C.O.G.I.C. with Pastor Robert E. Woodard, III officiating. Per Lori’s request cremation services will follow.
