William Leslie "Bill" Albrecht William Leslie “Bill” Albrecht, 59, beloved son, brother and friend, died at the Heights Group Home in El Campo, Texas Wednesday, August 9, 2007.  Bill was born July 4, 1948 to Leslie Smith and Josephine Salinas Albrecht in Texas City, Texas.  Raised in League City, Bill lived at the Heights Group Home in El Campo for the last 21 years of his life where he received loving and compassionate care.

Preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, he is survived by three sisters and their spouses, Mary and Frank Stutzman and Evelyn and David Garland of Kemah, Caroline and Lewis Wofford of League City,  a brother, Leslie Smith Albrecht, Jr. and his wife Joyce, of Flowery Branch, Georgia,  five nieces, three nephews, and 10 great nieces and nephews. His impact on his family and friends was positive and joyous and will be deeply missed.

Funeral Services will be conducted 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 13, 2007, in the Chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Pastor John Newton officiating.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 10412 Hwy 6, Hitchcock, (409) 925-3501.
