Jesse P. Gaona
Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Jesse P. GaonaJesse P. Gaona, 74, of Galveston, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at his residence.

 

His family will receive visitors after 5:00 pm, Friday, August 17th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm.  Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, August 18th, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

 

Jesse was born December 10, 1932, in Bastrop, Texas, but grew up in Galveston.  He graduated from Ball High School in 1951 and served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps.  Jesse worked for and retired from the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister.

 

He is survived by his two sisters, Dolores G. Rodriguez and Lupe P. Gaona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
