Mary Louise Brown
E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary

Mary Louise BrownMary Louise Brown, 68, went home to be with the Lord on August 15, 2007.

Mary was born in Beaumont, Texas on January 29, 1939, to Joseph and Clara Brown. She was the youngest of three children along with Leroy J. Brown and Joseph Brown, Jr.. Mary graduated from CharltonPollardHigh School in Beaumont and went on to attend two years of college at Texas Southern University in Houston, TX. She later moved to Galveston with her infant son, Leroy. Mary was baptized in the Church of Living God at an early age. She worked various jobs while raising her only child.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, mother, both brothers, and stepmother, Helen P. Reed.

She is survived by her only child, Elder Leroy Edwin Brown and wife, Evangelist. Georgia Brown of Puyallup, WA; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, coworkers and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Thursday, August 23rd. A service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, August 24, 2007, at 11:00 am in the chapel of E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary with Rev. Charles Wheat officiating. Burial will follow at LakeviewCemetery.
