Terry Sue Mallow Richards
Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Terry Sue Mallow RichardsTerry Sue Mallow Richards quietly and peacefully completed her journey on this earth on August 18th, 2007 at her home in Texas City, TX cherished by the loving vigil of her or family.

Sue, as she was known by most people, is survived by her beloved children, daughter, Leslie D Richards of Texas City, TX, daughter, Lesa Richards of Lubbock, TX, son, Randall L Richards and his wife, Deeana of Missouri City, TX and son, Jeffrey L Richards of Grand Prairie, TX; her mother and step-father, Nadine and Dewey Rogers of Lubbock, TX; her brother and sister-in-law, Guy Travis and Elaine Mallow living in Arlington, TX and her five grandchildren: Robin, Meredith, Alex, Kaitlyn & Lorelei.  Her dearest friends, Margo Parr of Austin TX, and Paula Shiver of Bayou Vista, TX, also survive her.

The delight of Sue’s life was her children and grandchildren.  They gave her laughter, joy and filled her life with pure bliss and she returned that with unconditional and forever lasting love.
Her parents were her rock and sounding board as Sue walked her journey of life and were her greatest cheerleaders.  From them, she always drew strength.

Sue loved the color blue and promised that if you release a blue balloon now or ever, and send it towards heaven, she vowed to collect them and carry them with her on her new journey.
She also wanted to remind everyone that she has not died.  She is merely a little further up the road and out of sight from the rest of us.

Sue’s life will be honored at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Malloy & Son Funeral Home, 3028 Broadway, Galveston, Texas.  In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that anyone wishing to can make a donation to any of the following in Sue’s name:  Austin & Associates Veterinary Hospital
, 1708 Amburn Rd. , Texas City, TX 77591;  The V Foundation for Cancer Research, 106 Towerview Court , Cary, NC 27513; or to Hospice Care Team, 1708 Amburn Rd., Texas City, TX 77591.

Sue requested that her family and friends raise a glass of fine wine in her honor.
