Sidney D. Thibodeaux
E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary

Sidney D. Thibodeaux, 58, departed this life on Saturday, August 25, 2007, at his residence.

Sidney
was born May 27, 1949, in Galveston, Texas. He attended public school in Galveston and later joined the U. S. Army. He was a laborer by trade before his health failed.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Thibodeaux and leaves behind a devoted mother, Maggie Campbell Thibodeaux; uncles, Calhoun Humphrey; Melvin Campbell; Hubert Campbell, and Wilson Campbell; aunts, Ella Benefield; Helen Joyce Simmons; Mary Spencer, and Gladys B. Campbell; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will begin at 4p.m. on today, August 30th, followed by a wake from 7-8p.m. at E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2007, at SpiritualTrueChurch with Pastor Jerry Temple officiating. Burial will follow at BarboursMemorialCemetery in Hitchcock, TX.
