Dolores (Johnson) DaPra
Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Dolores (Johnson) DaPra, 92, of Galveston, passed away Monday, September 03, 2007, at Turner Geriatric Center.

 

Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 6th, at 11:00 am, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  Entombment will follow the service at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock.

 

The family will receive visitors after 5:00 pm on Wednesday, September 5th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  A rosary will be held at 6:00 pm.

 

Dolores was born November 12, 1914, in Galveston, Texas and was a lifelong resident of the island.  She retired from American Indemnity Co.  Dolores was married to Adolph Johnson, her husband of 25 years, who preceded her in death.

 

She is survived by her son, John Higgins and wife, Shirley, of Topeka, KS; granddaughters, Susan Higgins of Florida and Charlotte Higgins of North Carolina; and sister, Monica Lawrence, of Boulder, CO.

 

The family requests no flowers.  Instead, please send memorials to your favorite charity.
