Fernando "Randy" Bermudez Jr.Fernando “Randy” Bermudez Jr., of Enos, Oklahoma passed away Monday, September 3, 2007 at his residence in Enos.

He was born in Galveston, Texas to the late Fernando Bermudez Sr. and Angelina Lopez Bermudez on March 10, 1941. Fernando was raised and lived most of his life in Galveston where he attended the St. Mary’s and Kirwin High School.  He served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968 during the Viet-Nam War. Later he worked at Union Carbide / Dow as a Tank Truck Scheduler for 31 years before retiring.  Fernando married Freddie Hernandez on December 22, 1984 in Galveston.  In 2001 they moved to the Enos area where he lived the rest of his life.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time on his computer. 
    
He is survived by his wife Freddie Bermudez of Enos, Oklahoma; sons Troy Bermudez of Bluffton, South Carolina and Antonio Hernandez of Enos, Oklahoma; daughters Lisa Mangrum of Fort Worth, Texas, Dee Ann Griffe of Texas City, Texas, Regina Sweat and Belinda Reyes both of League City; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; sister Connie Voss of Corpus Christi, Texas.                              
 
Fernando was preceded in death by his parents and 1 grandson; Bryan Hernandez.
 
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be held at 6:00 P.M.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Sep tember 7, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica Catholic Church, with Father Brendan Murphy officiating.  Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.                                                                                

Casket Bearers will be Troy Bermudez, Brian Bermudez, Antonio Hernandez, Raymond Reyes, Richard Sweat, Greg Griffe, Joey Molis, Wayne McCoy.
