Tracey Dulaney Rawls

Tracey Dulaney Rawls, 45, departed this life on Friday, September 9, 2007.  He was born January 9, 1962 in Galveston,Texas to the union of Jesse and Marie Rawls.  He graduated from Ball High School in 1980.  Mr. Rawls owned and operated A Cut Above Lawn Service.

Mr. Rawls was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Rawls; grandparents, Jesse and Edna Rawls, Jessie Mae Denman and Leroy Patrick.

Mr. Rawls is survived by his mother Bishop Marie Pines; sisters, Nicole Cleveland, Doris Foley, Brenda Burnside, Verda Pines, Debra Ruiz, Cheryl Pines, Jacqueline Pines and Sabrina Allen; brothers, Dustin Rawls, Alfred Pines, Jr., Samuel Pines, James Pines, Chris Pines and Dale Pines; great uncle, James Pope and aunt, Melva Pope; aunts, Lillian Roddy, Jo Ann Hamilton, Deborah Denman and Carmen Denman; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. 

A video tribute will be shown from 4-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2007, at Wynn Funeral Home, 602-32nd Street, Galveston,Texas.  The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m. 

Homegoing services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2007, at Gospel Baptist Church, 3818 Ball, Galveston, Texas, with Reverend Nathaniel Brown officiating.   Pastor Reginald Pope and Bishop Marie Pines will deliver the eulogy.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Galveston.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make donations in Mr. Rawls' memory may send them to the Tracey Rawls Memorial Fund at Hometown Bank of Galveston.
