Houston, Texas – Eric Gage, former Executive Director of the La Marque Economic Development Corporation, and Marketing/Business Development Manager for the Pearland EDC has joined Realtek Real Estate Services, a commercial real estate agency.
 
“My market area will include the Houston region and Galveston County,” said Gage.  “I know this area,  I know the people and want to continue to help it grow.
 
Gage was with the La Marque EDC for five years before leaving and joining the Pearland EDC.
 
“These two positions have given me the experience in transactions from small to large,” said Gage.  “I will be able to bring knowledge to my cliental that will assist them in getting through the development and approval process of the cities.”
 
Gage oversaw the development of the Super Wal-Mart in La Marque through completion as well as the retail development around the site.  He also worked with several home developers in securing the largest home development surge in the city. 
 
Gage has been an advocate for small businesses in his previous roles in seeing that they have the resources needed to succeed.
 
“I will continue to help small business owners find resources,” said Gage.  “I look forward in helping them find property, build a building or secure financing.”
 
Gage is a 1996 graduate of Texas City High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Texas State University in San Marcos.
