Sister Lois Sellers Stinyard
Wynn Funeral Home

GALVESTON - Sister Lois Sellers Stinyard, 68, of Galveston went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2007, at UTMB.
 
Lois was born February 6, 1939 to Charles and Lovinia Sellers Sr.  Lois attended public school in Galveston.  Lois was a dedicated member of  West Point Baptist Church and a member of Forever Faithful Heroines of Jericho #66.   She was employed by Dr. and Mrs. Bryon Bailey for 25 years where she helped with their children.
 
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, son, Edwin Thomas, daughter, Linda Thomas, and 11 siblings.  She leaves to cherish her precious memory one brother, Charles Sellers Jr. (Martha); step-daughter, Paula Stinyard of California; a devoted niece, Evelyn Bullard;  sister-in-law, Lillian Sellers; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and best friends, Mildred and James; Ms. Alice; Mrs. Washington; Marlene; Verna; Lela; Ms. Rebecca; Peggy; Nora; Linda; Teresa and Barbara.
 
Visitation will be held  from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, followed by a wake from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wynn Funeral Home.
 
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2007, at 11:30 a.m. at West Point Baptist Church, 3009 Avenue M, Galveston, Texas, with The Reverend Kerry W. Tillmon officiating.
 
Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
 
The family would like to thank Dr. R. LaForte, Dr. Balbastro, Dr. Reinhart and all of the staff on Tower 7A and 10A West for all the love and care that was given to our loved one.  God bless all of you!!!
