 Shedrick Donnell Irving, 25, departed this life on Friday, October 12, 2007, in Galveston, Texas.
Shedrick was born in Galveston on March 7, 1982. Shedrick accepted Christ at an early age. He attended public school in Galveston and was a 2002 graduate of Ball High School, where he was very active in the ROTC. He played with the Little League football and baseball teams. He was presently employed with McDonalds Restaurant in Galveston. He was loved by family and friends of the community and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Frank and Harriet Bailey; cousin, Calvin Irving, and great uncle, Bobby Bailey.
He leaves with cherished memories, his devoted mother, Shirley Irving of Galveston; grandparents, Maurine Irving of Center, TX; John and Robbie Butler of Houston, TX; uncles, David Irving (Diane) of Dallas, TX; Thomas Irving of Center, TX, and John Butler, Jr. of Galveston; aunt, Laureen Irving of Center, TX; Ada Butler, and Terry Teague (Ken) both of Galveston; great uncles, Frankie Bailey (Ida), and Charles Bailey both of La Marque; great aunt, Myra Bailey of Texas City; a host of other relatives and friends.
A service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2007, in the chapel of E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary with Rev. Michael Dwyer officiating.
There will be no wake or visitation for Shedrick. Burial will follow at Rising Star Cemetery in La Marque, Texas.
