Perfect weather attracted early crowds to Postoffice Street for the first morning of ARToberFEST.

Jim Guidry entered the festival at 20th Street and talked to several of the volunteers, artists and visitors.

ARToberFEST continues through 6 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.  The event benefits the Galveston Island Humane Society and the Aids Coalition of Coastal Texas.
