Lolita Advincula, 70, of Galveston, passed away Monday, October 22, 2007, at UTMB Hospital.
The family will receive visitors after 6:00 pm, Thursday, October 25th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. A service will be held at 7:00 pm, led by Father Gerald Lewis, SVD.
Lolita was born April 28, 1937, in Cuartero, Capiz Philippines. She came to the United States in 2006 after retiring as a school teacher in the Philippines for 30 years. Lolita was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her husband, Rudy Advincula, of The Philippines; son, Jose Duenas and wife, Josephine, of The Philippines; daughter, Jocylette Aclan and husband, Roy, of Galveston; daughter, Rolilie Diaz and husband, Rommel, of The Philippines; sisters, Luz Castanares, Carmen Lepana, Irene Sereno, Purification Hilajos, and Angeles Bustamante, all of The Philippines; brothers, Pablo Pericon, Aurillo Tobasco, Lorenzo Pericon, and Amado Pericon, all of The Philippines; and grandchildren: Joselito Duenas, Josefa Duenas, Ariana Diaz, and Angelie Diaz, all of The Philippines, and Jared Aclan, of Galveston.
Lolita’s family wishes to extend special thanks to all of her family and friends, especially the Jimenez family, as well as the SICU at UTMB.
