 Mrs. Rose Mary Tibaldo passed from this life Monday afternoon, October 22, 2007, in Webster.
Born August 27, 1930 in Houston, TX, Mrs. Tibaldo had been a resident of Santa Fe since 1949, previously of Houston. In Mrs. Tibaldo’s days of employment, she had worked at American National Insurance Co. and as a bookkeeper at Word Electric in Hitchcock. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Hitchcock and she enjoyed bird watching, her cats and especially loved her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Louis Tibaldo; parents, Anton J. and Cecile (Dugas) Bonin, Sr.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Tibaldo of Santa Fe, Steven Tibaldo and wife, Pamela of Athens, Alabama; grandchildren, Kenneth Allen Tibaldo, II, Whitney Rose Tibaldo, Schera, Lanie and Ryan Oberholtzer, Taylor Tibaldo; brother, Anton John Bonin, Jr. of Pearland; numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2007, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Reverend John Kappe, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson.
Casketbearers will be Curtis Bonin, Lawrence Bonin, Gary Carpenter, Kenneth Allen Tibaldo, II, Paul Tibaldo and Richard Tibaldo.
Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501. A Vigil service will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Joe Kelly officiating followed by a Rosary led by the Knights of Columbus Council #10393.
