Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Sybil CaldeiraSybil Caldeira, 75, of Galveston, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at Gulf Health Care Center in Galveston.


The family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Friday, October 26th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.


Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, October 27th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home with Pastor David Hoh officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock.


Sybil was born December 8, 1931, in Galveston, Texas.  She graduated from Ball High School and retired as head secretary for the American Bureau of Shipping.  She was well loved by all who knew her.


Sybil is preceded in death by her parents, Henry A. Kleimann and Lillian Schmidt Kleimann; and brother, Lawrence Kleimann.


She is survived by her husband, Tony Caldeira, of Galveston; brother, Henry W. Kleimann, of West Virginia; brother, Joe Kleimann and wife, Lisa, of Galveston; sisters-in-law, Rita Romeo and husband, Ted, of Florida; Joyce Pitone and husband, Tony, of Michigan; and Elaine Smurra and husband, Robert, of Florida; brothers-in-law, Harold Caldeira and wife, Joan, of Las Vegas; and Robert Caldeira and wife, Dorothy, of Las Vegas; special friends, Mel Butts and Antoinette Vasut; special nephew, Tommy Caldeira; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Pallbearers will be Ernie Olsen, Wally Overly, Jerry Kleimann, Nathan Kleimann, Tony Pitone, and Harold Caldeira.
