Leonard G. Chapman, 60, of Galveston, passed away at his residence Friday, October 26, 2007. 

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Wednesday, October 31st, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.

Leonard was born October 8, 1947, in Galveston, Texas.  He will be remembered for his love of nature, fishing, hunting, and his passion for raising homing pigeons. Leonard also served our country in the US Army as a Vietnam Veteran. 

Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, Roland A. and Eula Mae Chapman, and one brother, Floyd Chapman.

He is survived by his three sisters and four brothers:  sister, Rolena Glasgow, of Willis, Texas; sister, Mary Ferguson, of Gant, Alabama; sister, Patricia Garcia, of Galveston; brothers, Gaylord Chapman, Roland Chapman, and Charles Chapman, all of Galveston; brother, Norman Chapman, of Brenham, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
