Mrs. Linda Lee Park passed from this life Wednesday morning, October 31, 2007, in Houston.

Born August 20, 1945 in Texas City, TX, Mrs. Park had been a lifetime resident of Texas City.  She had been employed as a dietician assistant at Mainland Center Hospital where she retired after many years of service, was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed spending time reading and raising her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carlton A. Park; parents, Horace and Ola Mae (Connel) Ridenour and brother, Edward Ridenour.

Survivors include her children, Tammie Simpson and husband, Lloyd of Hitchcock, Charles Park and wife, Tina, Irwin T. Park and Jimmy Park, all of Texas City; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry and James Ridenour, both of Texas City.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2007, at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock with Mr. Billy Balke officiating, under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Those who wish may make memorials in the form of donations to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 2956, Texas City, TX 77592-2956.
