Kenneth A. Nelson, 48, of Texas City, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at UTMB Hospital.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Saturday, November 17th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home, 3028 Broadway, Galveston. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, led by Rev. Deborah Proctor.
Kenneth was born October 1, 1959, in Galveston, Texas. He attended Ball High School where he was a member of the ROTC. He was employed at Republic Auto Parts as a sales associate for 25 years.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Orlan and Jessie Nelson.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Nelson; brother, Michael Nelson and wife, Pam; mother-in-law, Louise Blair; brother-in-law, Charles Blair and wife, Linda; sisters-in-law, Verna Leonhardt and husband, Gene, and Judy Loney and husband, Chuck; long-time friend, Charlie Collier; and numerous other relatives and friends.
