Mr. Gerald Eugene Collins passed from this life Tuesday, November13, 2007, in Nassau Bay.

Born May 28, 1935 in California, Mr. Collins had been a resident of San Leon for 20 years. He had been employed as a painter with the Painters Local Union #1008 for many years, served in the US Army, was a member of the American Legion Post #594 and enjoyed spending time visiting friends.

Survivors include his sister, Nora Lee Adle of Kemah; nephews, Dickie Parrott and Michael Adle both of Kemah; niece, Diana Williams of Pearland.

A private cremation will be conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Those who wish may make memorials in the form of donations to the AmericanLegion Post #594, 7139 Dixie Drive, Houston, TX 77087.
