Rosa Maria SalazarRosa Maria Salazar, 55, died Sunday, November 25, 2007 at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. Funeral services are at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father John Bok, O.F.M, celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Carnes Brothers Funeral Home of Galveston. Visitation was held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, November 26, 2007 with a rosary at 7:00 pm.

Rosa Maria was born December 20, 1951 to Pedro and Andrea Gonzalez Bonilla in Villa De Fuente, Mexico. She had worked at The Federal Bank, The Cattle Association and the Banco de Credito Rural when she lived in Piedras Niegras, Mexico. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, Rosa Maria is survived by her husband, Jose’ Salazar of Galveston; sons, Jose Heriberto Salazar, Jr. and wife, Ashley, Luis Alberto Salazar and Juan Antonio Salazar all of Galveston; granddaughter, Samantha MacKenzie Salazar of Galveston; sister, Francisca Quintero of Eagle Pass, Texas; brothers, Evelio Bonilla of Belvidere, Illinois and Jesus Bonilla of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico; numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Juan Antonio Salazar, Luis Alberto Salazar, Jose Heriberto Salazar, Jr., Ricardo Bonilla, Sergio Salazar. Jose Lopez, Roberto Salazar and Cresencio Salazar.
