The Galveston Holiday Parade, sponsored by the Galveston Municipal Police Association will be held on Saturday, December 8.

The parade will begin at the Railroad Museum at 4 o'clock and wind its way through the Strand Historic District. 

Parade director Frank Culligan said that the GMPA will combine the parade with a food drive this year. Each parade participant is being asked to bring one non-perishable food item.
