Londell “Bo” Harris, 67, passed away from this life on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at U.T.M.B. Hospital in Galveston.

“Bo” as he was affectionately called, was born on April 11, 1940, to the union of Emmitt and Rose Lee Bankhead Harris, Jr. in Plain Dealing, LA. He was a longtime independent cab driver in Galveston, most recently with the Yellow Cab Co..

Londell was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, George Kelly, brother, Emmitt Harris III, and sister, Eva Mae Worthem.

He leaves to cherish the precious memories of his life; daughter, Cheryl Lavallies; grandson, Arron Jones; brothers, Luther Harris; Sammy Harris; Ozell Kelly, and Mozell Kelly; sisters, Martha Harris; Shirley Ford; aunts, Mae Bell Hapson; devoted friend, Patricia Brooks; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3PM on Friday, November 30th, followed by a wake from 6-7 P.M.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of E.R. Johnson Family Mortuary, with Rev. Norris D. Burkley, Sr. officiating.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
