"This is a real exciting opportunity for the Galveston Historical Foundation as well as the City of Galveston," said GHF Executive Director Dwayne Jones. "We actually are looking forward to a tremendous event this year. I don't know if you realize that we have already, as of yesterday, exceeded our sales of tickets for the total of last year."
"I am totally impressed with Galveston, and I really mean that, " said Henry Dickens Hawksley, great-great grandson of author Charles Dickens, noting the efforts to preserve the Victorian buildings in the Strand Historic District.
"It is so exciting, Her Majesty is so looking forward to this exhibit," said Queen Victoria, who again this year is being played by Anne Boyd.
