Supporters of Galveston's Ronald McDonald House, including local dignitaries and celebrities, participated in an extraordinary ceremony as the "Light Up the House" for the Holiday Season on Friday November 30. Bob Ford was the master of ceremonies.

Special guests included Ronald McDonald along with his "Shoe Car", Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus. Local choirs provided holiday music and the face painting and balloons of the "Caring Clowns" of UTMB entertained the children.
Coca-Cola, Starbucks Coffee, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, Cici's Pizza, and others served complementary refreshments.
Santa Claus presented each child with a free "Build-A-Bear".
There was a "Wreaths and Trees" silent auction with all items created and donated by local artists in a holiday theme.
