The Third Annual "Magical Evening of Music" benefiting Gleanings From The Harvest for Galveston was held on Sunday at the Moody Gardens Hotel.
Master of Ceremonies James Galbraith welcomed the large crowd to the Frances Moody Ballroom and thanked the sponsors of the event.

The program included remarks by Susan Antonelli, chair of the event, and Erwin "Buddy" Herz, who talked about his life with B.J. Herz, his wife and the recipient of the Harvest Moon Award.

Gleanings From The Harvest for Galveston Executive Director Mark Davis spoke in praise of Bill Ritter, who inspired creation of the organization, and B.J. Herz for her service to the Galveston County community.

Entertainment was provided by the Galveston Symphony Orchestra, the musical talents of Delovely's Charles Milton, Debra Milton and Blake Davidson and College of the Mainland's Jazz Ensemble.
