Mae Esther Winston
E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary
Mae Esther Winston departed this life on November 29, 2007, at Gulf Health Care Center in Texas City.
Mae was born on July 21, 1928, in Brenham, TX, to Lewis and Lonora Williams Winston. She attended her early school years in Brenham and graduated from Lincoln High School in La Marque. She was a member of Bell Zion Baptist Church joining under the late Rev. Z. Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Thelma Winston, Ola Mae Winston Harrison and Bessie Winston. She is survived by her brothers, Clarence Winston of Galveston; Clinton Winston of Texas City; sisters, Lee Etta Winston Moore of Dickinson, and Ina Ruth Winston Phillips of Houston; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 A.M on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary.
