A crowd of about 200 gathered at Bay Area Houston Convention & Visitors Bureau’s viewing party for the 46th annual Christmas Boat Lane Parade on Clear Lake.
Located across the channel from the Aquarium restaurant, the Beacon Hill Guest House Bed & Breakfast in Seabrook provided an ideal setting for guests to watch the parade while sipping hot chocolate and enjoying food from area restaurants.
BAHCVB, the destination marketing management organization for the region surrounding Clear Lake and Galveston Bay, hosted the event to thank its hospitality partners and member cities of Kemah, League City, Nassau Bay, Seabrook, Webster, La Porte and Houston. Launched in 2001, BAHCVB seeks to actively increase awareness of the region as a premier tourism destination for leisure, meetings and business. Event sponsors included Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Texas Monthly and Mystic Krewe Du Carnaval.
