Grace Powell Smith, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed from our family on December 27, 2007, while visiting with her children and grandchildren in Baton Rouge, LA. She was 78 years old and a resident of Florida, born in Galveston, TX on March 3, 1929.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Sunday, December 30th at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Monday, December 31st, at 10:00 am, conducted by her son, Roy Allison, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Galveston, TX.
Grace is survived by her children: Nadine and Mike Gromowski; John and Kathy Allison; Roy and Vicki Allison, and Annette Allison; sister, Patricia Mueller; brother, Butch Powell; grandchildren: Misty, J P, Jessica; and Samuel Allison; Michelle Molea, Jessie and Lisa Comeaux; and great grandchildren Logan and Tristan Comeaux, and Ryder Molea.
