Robin Ellen Lee, 52, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 in Houston following a brief illness.  A remarkable child in spite of her disabilities, she lived a full life and was loved by many.  She loved music, laughter, people and particularly enjoyed riding in a convertible with the top down. 

Robin was preceded in death by her parents Douglas and Sissy Lee of Galveston.  She is survived by her brother George Lee and wife Brenda of Galveston; sister Misty Mathews and husband Darren of Bayfield, Colorado; nephews Colin Lee and Nicholas Mathews and nieces Sara and Abby Mathews.  The family would especially like to offer special thanks to Annie Evans, Nery Sanchez, the staff of Hope Village in Friendswood and Skip, Denise and Hannah at the Nissi Home of Houston, for the invaluable care and assistance they provided for Robin over the years.

A memorial service will be held for the family and friends at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 4 at Malloy & Son Funeral Home, 3028 Broadway in Galveston.  Donations to the First Presbyterian Church of Galveston or a charity of your choice in Robin’s name would be greatly appreciated.
