Mardi Gras! Galveston in full swing

The official date for Mardi Gras! Galveston is January 25 – February 5, but with more than fifty galas and parties to fit in, the celebration has already begun. Throughout the city events are taking place, costumes are being donned, and king cake is being served. In addition, Mardi Gras! Artwalk will take place in the Historic Downtown District on Saturday evening beginning at 6 PM where guests are invited to stroll through numerous galleries and retail shops to partake of local hospitality while celebrating the arts.

Next weekend the streets will come alive with entertainment for kids of all ages including a full size carnival on the Seawall, four full size parades rolling through the streets and Strand balcony parties, with bead tossing, pageants, den parties and galas hold court. The fun has already begun. Join us.
