Louis W. Stinyard
E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary

Louis W. StinyardLouis W. Stinyard, 75, departed this life on Friday, January 18, 2008, at UTMB.

Louis was born August 19, 1932, in Baltimore, MD to the union of Clinton, Sr. and Edna Wallace Stinyard. He served his country in the U. S. Army, during the Korean War and was honorable discharged. After his retirement as a machinist from Todd Shipyard, he became a career college student, where he earned his Master's degree. He loved fishing and just creating projects around the house. Louis was a caring man and will be forever missed and remembered by those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Louis Stinyard, Jr.; sisters Edna Moore, Mildred Holly, Juanita Satterfield and Ruth Mary Stinyard.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Stinyard  of California; children, Paula Stinyard of California; Victor Stinyard, Juan Stinyard both of Baltimore, MD, and Andre Stinyard of Wisconsin; grandchildren Phillip, Jared and Logan Hammond, Travis, Kendra, and Maliki Stinyard; brother, Clinton Stinyard, Jr.; sisters, Irene Salvage and Theresa Johnson; devoted niece, Carolyn Foxx-Grooms; devoted brother in law, Charles Sellers and wife Martha; devoted friend and caregiver, Billie Parhms; a host of nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9-11:00 AM on Thursday, January 24, 2008, in the chapel of E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary. Graveside service will follow at 12:30PM at the Houston National Cemetery with the burial to follow.

I will love you for all eternity, I will remember you for all eternity, I will cherish the precious memories for all eternity, and you will be with me for all eternity. Love you Dad always. Paula
