Larry Donell Scurry
Wynn Funeral Home

Larry Donell Scurry, 45, received his reward of eternal rest on Wednesday, January 28, 2008, at his residence in Galveston.
Larry was born June 11, 1962, to Mrs. Betty Woodard and David Scurry of Galveston.  Both parents preceded him in death.
Larry attended public school in Galveston and was a 1981 graduate of Ball High School.
Larry was self-employed and occasionally worked at a local auto shop in Galveston until his health failed.
Left to mourn Larry's memory are his two children, David Allen and Marcus Allen Scurry of Galveston; 3 sisters, Linda and Suzanna Scurry of Galveston; Sheila (Larry) Vallier of Texas City; brother, Ronald (Jackie) Scurry of Tomball, Texas.  He  will also be deeply missed by his step-father, Elton Woodard and  step-brother, Elton Woodard Jr.,  of Texas City, and aunt, Catherine Willis, of Galveston.  Additional survivors are his two grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at Wynn Funeral Home followed by the funeral service , also at the funeral home, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2008.
Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Galveston.
