Lillian Anita Letroise

Lillian Anita Letroise, 61, was called home to be with her heavenly Father, on Saturday, February 2, 2008, at Gulf Health Care Center, in Texas City.
Lillian entered this life in Galveston on October 29, 1946, to the union of Woodrow, Sr. and Beatrice Carter Williams. A lifelong resident of Galveston, she was a graduate of Central High School. She also was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church. Lillian worked for St. Mary's Hospital for 23 years, and GISD until her health begin to fail.
She was preceded in death by her; mother, Beatrice Williams Edison; two infant children, Rhonda and Frank; grandchildren, Donesha, Donald, Jr., and LaDawna Hill; great grandchild, Katrina R. Hall; brothers, Leon and Woodrow Williams, Jr.; sisters, Valencia Lundy, Shirley Williams; aunts, Lillian, Arline, and Hazel.
She leaves to cherish memories of her life; husband, Bobby Letroise, Sr.; son, Jimmie Clay; daughters, Regina Clay; Rita Clay (Henry); Janise Clay-Petteway (Henry), and Sheryl Letroise (Chris); stepdaughters, Denise Thompson, Tonya Williams; stepsons, Wilbert, Bobby, Jr., William, and Nathan; 24 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; father, Rev. Woodrow F. Williams, Sr.; sisters, Mary Thompson; Travis Ann (Irving); Lillian Scott, and Debra Dimes; brothers, Royal (Ruthie), and William Ashton.
Visitation will begin at 4 PM on Friday, February 8th followed by a wake from 7- 8:00 P.M. at E.R. Johnson Family Mortuary. A service celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Jerusalem Baptist Church, with Pastor A.S. Johnson, officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
