Donna Marie Huening RobinsonDonna Marie Huening Robinson, 67, went to her heavenly home February 19, 2008 from her home in The Woodlands, TX.

She was born November 6, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Clarence and Hermina Huening.  She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Hitchcock for 30 years, actively involved in music ministry there for many years.  She graduated from the University of Houston - Clear Lake with a degree in English, and was a School Board Member in Hitchcock.  She had worked at College of the Mainland in Adult Ed., the Texas Work Force Commission and Houston Works as a case manager before retiring, in addition to Volunteering at the Galveston County Parks Dept.

Preceded in death by her husband, John H. Robinson; parents and sister, Barbara Huening.

Survivors include her sons, Greg Robinson and wife, Angela, Larry Robinson and wife, Irene, Kevin Robinson and wife, Laura; daughters, Michelle Robinson-Lucas and husband, Paul, Laura Foster and husband, Tom; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 step grandson; numerous sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

On February 27, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Hitchcock, visitation will start at 4:00 p.m.  There will be a rosary at 6:30 p.m., mass will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. with Father John Kappe as Celebrant, followed by a reception at 8:00 p.m.  Burial will be March 1, 2008 in Jonesboro, Arkansas beside her loving husband.  Arrangements respectfully handled by Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock (409) 925-3501.

Pallbearers are Tom Huening, Larry Huening, Paul Huening, Vince Huening, Ted Huening and Mark Graff.  Honorary pallbearers are Warren Blank, Tom Makowski, John Truncali and Andrew Whitfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Our Lady of Lourdes School, 10114 Hwy 6, Hitchcock, TX 77563.
