Antonia Lewis
Wynn Funeral Home

Antonia Lewis passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at her residence. 
 
Antonia was born December 25, 1931 to Eugene and Louise Lewis in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana.  Antonia moved to Galveston in 1950 and was employed as a domestic worker.  She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael Eugene Brown; three brothers; Larry Patrick Lewis, Ernest Lewis, Paul Lewis and one sister, Verlie Alexander.
 
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Jeff Anderson Jr. of Dallas and Larry Brown of Galveston; five sisters; Rose Etienne (Lumas) of Galveston, Bernice Alexander of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Mary Harris (Charles) of Galveston, Theresa Wiltz (Joe) of Lafayette, Louisiana and Evelyn Lewis (her godchild) of Texas City, Texas; three brothers;  Joseph Lewis of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Eugene Lewis (Shirley), and Samuel Lewis (Mary Ella) both of Houston; devoted nieces;  Cleo Etienne Foster, Jocelyn Etienne Gilmore, Nicole Charles Ward, Cassandra Little, Earlene Zeno, Patricia Jones and Sharonda Dennis; devoted nephew; Fabian R. Lewis; special foster grandsons; Dominic, Jordan, Justin and Blake Etienne, Quinton Fields, Lil Mike and Cameron Gilmore; special great-granddaughters (nieces) Chelsa Washington and Erin Ward; devoted friends, Billie Ruth Pharms, Phoebe Fields and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
 
Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church,1420-31st Street, Galveston, Texas 77550.  The rosary will be recited at 9:45 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m., with Father Paul Banet as celebrant.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
